Preparing to Launch…seeking opportunity in adversity

The countdown is on for the launch of our new web site November 1^st. More content to write – editing to be done, design details to tweak. We are excited and full of anticipation about the different approach to the site that reflects the new collaborative solutions focus to our work. We want to use social media tools to create space for more dialogue and broaden the circle of people engaged in this work. 

The timing feels right to be launching this new endeavour. We are in tough times. Communities across York Region are feeling the impact of global economic forces. Individuals who may not have had to think about it before are now  coming to realize what many people who live on low to moderate incomes have known for a long time …decent affordable housing can be very hard to find….especially if you want to live above ground.
